World’s First Ubutnu Phone Wants To Shake Up The Home Screen
Mouse-Box — An Entire Computer inside a Mouse
Poland-based Przemysław Strzelczyk and a team of software developers working on a new concept have created what they believe is the future of desktop computing — a mouse that’s also a PC.
Mouse Box comes with the same amount of storage as a high-end iPhone 6 Plus, but we know that nobody will be able to work for long with so little storage. The storage capacity can’t be physically expanded, but can be extended with the use of cloud storage service.
“At the beginning, moving computers was a real challenge,” explained the Polish startup. “Computer portability has been improving along with developing a PC. However, it still isn’t ideal as it is necessary to transport a lot of its parts – a monitor, a keyboard, a CPU and a mouse.“
“We are introducing Mouse-Box, a computer different than ever before – an incredible combination of the two most important elements in a computer set.“
“We’ve changed the thinking about personal computers. From now nothing will be the same,” said Przemyslaw Strzelczyk. “The Mouse-Box is a revolutionary device; it connects the most important things in the IT industry. You will always have the PC in your hand, even at work. The only problem you will have to cope with it is what hand you are going to use.“
The Case That Turns Your Phone Into A Polaroid Camera Is Now On Kickstarter
The Prynt case, which lets you print photos directly from your phone, is now available for pre-order on Kickstarter. While the startup still plans for its case to retail for $99, early backers can get it for $49.
As you can see the in the video above, we bumped into Prynt a few weeks back at CES. They demonstrated their new mount for phones, which will allow the case to support larger phablets like the iPhone 6 Plus and Galaxy Note line down the road. They weren’t showing a case with a direct connection to your phone over Lightning or USB, so print times still haven’t quite hit the 30 seconds the team is aiming for.
When you take a photo with Prynt’s app, it actually records a video of the moments around when you clicked the button and sends it to the cloud. When you hold up the physical photo to your phone’s camera with the app open, it is overlaid with a Play button that shows that video in place of the picture itself. It’s like Snapchat but with a physical token that gives you permission to see videos. In order to make it even more secure, the company is looking into tricks like hiding pixels in images that would prevent them from being copied, so a photo of the photo wouldn’t bring up the play button in the app
Microsoft Launches HoloLens – The Future of Technology?
When Microsoft held its Windows 10 event last week at its headquarters in Washington, no one was expecting a new futuristic wearable device. The tech company astounded everyone with the announcement about HoloLens, Microsoft’s sleek-looking headset, complete with transparent lenses.
It really does look like something straight out of a science fiction film but what does it actually do and is it something that is going to used by the masses?
Microsoft clearly thinks so and sees a future where people are able to see interactive, 3D images on top of what they already see in everyday, real life situations. Here’s your quick guide to HoloLens and everything it has to offer. Microsoft’s idea behind HoloLens is not to transport you into another world but rather to bring technology into the very world you’re living in. The device has been designed to overlay objects and images on top of what you already see in a room, so you can still see and converse with other people.
Transform your world with holograms.
Empowering you to achieve more.
Go beyond the screen.
A new reality.
A more natural way to interact.
Explore places you’ve never been.

Why Is Apple Going To Have A Better Time Launching A Wearable?
Why Is Apple Going To Have A Better Time Launching A Wearable?
Over the past few months, I’ve learned to change the way I explain Apple Watch to friends and family. Instead of starting out with a list of reasons why they may enjoy an Apple Watch, I now begin with a pretty simply explanation: Apple is making a watch with customizable faces and bands. I then let that person respond, and depending on their answer, I mention how Apple Watch can serve as a communication device, a health and fitness tracker, or a mobile payment facilitator. As a result, I now get a much more open response from people that want to see and learn more about Apple Watch. That is how Apple will sell Apple Watch.
Device Alert
This Fake Phone Charger Is Actually Recording Every Key You Type
- Sniff out keystrokes as you type them.
- If it detects certain keystrokes (like “TopSecretWebsite.com”), it can grab the chunk of text that follows (like your username and password) and send it over SMS to whoever planted the device.
- Store keystroke logs on the device itself. These logs can be extracted from the device by hardwired USB, or by putting a second KeySweeper device within range of the first (like, say, an outlet on the other side of the wall).
- When plugged in, it grabs its power from the wall.
- When unplugged from the wall by an abnormally suspicious bystander, it looks like it powers down — but it actually just switches to battery power. Logging/sending continues. Naaaasty.
Just wanted to mention — while Microsoft states it only affects keyboards before 2011, the vulnerable keyboards are *still* being manufactured and sold today, even from Microsoft’s own web site and major retailers like Best Buy.I purchased the vulnerable keyboard brand new from Best Buy just last month, and the date next to the serial number says “07/2014″
